Let us assume that we are on home screen or main menu of our android device and a gratifying background music is playing. When our phone is unlocked or when we are not using any app then the then a very sweet music is being reason of our joyfulness. And when we open any app then this music fade out and when we close it then this background music again played. Imagine this! this is so cool. Lets make it real.
How to Add and Play Background Music on Android Home Screen
First of all we have to install an android automation app “Tasker”. You can download it now.
In addition we download a music for background to save it in our device for this purpose.
Make New Profile With Launcher
Lets start, we shall open Tasker app and open the profile tab in its main menu. There is “+” button in the bottom of its screen. Now we select “Application”. We shall find a list of application, from here we have to prefer a launcher.
Associating Task with This Profile as Context
When we have choosed a launcher for our profile. let us come back one step so we have to click on back button. So we’ll be propeled for this act (associating task with profile). Click on new task then mark it. Now we’ll name it. Next step is that we’ll add action to our task by tapping add button “+”.
After tapping the add button we’ll type “Music” then select the action “Music Play”. And it must be sure that “loop” must be marked checked. if not, then we should mark it checked. There is a search icon on top-right side of screen. Our next step is to tap on that search icon and then browse our desired audio music file. Now we come back two steps.
Adding Exit Task
In the tasker’s main menu, there is “music play” component. We have to press it keep holding it. It will show us a menu. So now we tap on “Add Exit task”. On next step we shall choose the “New Task” and not name it, leave it and mark it checked.
On further step we shall add action to our task by tapping the add button “+”. We again type “music” typing area. But now we shall choose another action named “Music Stop”. On the “Action Edit” menu we shall never choose anything. We shall remaine deselect everything in it. Then again we come back two steps.
Adding Second Context in Our Profile
Now again we are on man menu of tasker. We shall tap it keep holding on profile area then it will show a menu from which we choose “Add” then tap “State”.
Through following menu we have to select “Display”.
After this we shall select “Display State”. At next there is two categories. one of them is “Is”. It Must be “on” if you want to run it.
Now we have completed our work and we should check it that is everything working properly. So our display is “on” if our launcher is working. So that is definitely working, it is active. So now we can enjoy a soft background music when we are not running any app.
